26.01.2018

Our plan for the European perspective of the Western Balkans is good, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said after his meeting with the Croatian Prime Minister Andrei Plenkovic, which took place at the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos. Its main topic of discussion was cooperation between the two countries in promotion of strengthening the stability in Southeastern Europe.

Andrei Plenkovic welcomed the priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. “All our colleagues here are optimistic, our plan is good,” said Boyko Borissov, adding that integration and infrastructure connectivity among the countries in the region will give economic impetus not only to the states in this part of Europe but also to the entire continent. The Prime Minister of Bulgaria expressed confidence that there will be continuity in these policies of the Bulgarian Presidency during the subsequent presidencies of Austria, Romania, and Croatia.
