Born in the village of Lyubenovo, Radnevo municipality.

1989 – Master’s Degree in Technology of Mechanical Engineering and Metal Cutting Machines, Technical University of Gabrovo (today “Vassil Aprilov” Technical University).
1989-1994: research and teaching, Technical University of Gabrovo.
1994-2006: Labor Office, Stara Zagora.
2006: appointment as Director of Labor Office, Stara Zagora.
2003-2013: municipal councilor, Stara Zagora Municipal Council; Chair of the Social Policy Standing Committee and Deputy Chair of the Municipal Council.
Since 2013: Member of Parliament (42nd, 43rd, 44th, 45th, 46th and 47th National Assembly /NA/ of the Republic of Bulgaria). Over these eight years he was member of the Human Rights and Citizens’ Complaints Committee (42nd NA) and of the Healthcare Committee (43rd, 44th and 46th NA); Deputy Chair of the Labor, Social and Demographic Policy Committee (42nd, 43rd, 44th and 46th NA) and Chair of the Labor, Social and Demographic Policy Committee (46th NA) and of the Interaction with NGOs and Citizens’ Complaints Committee (44th NA).
