Nahyan. In the course of the conversation, Prime Minister Borissov expressed his satisfaction with the activation of the bilateral relations as a result of the created political trust and a common desire to deepen the cooperation.

 

"Our two countries play an important role in their respective regions. We have similar views and positions on many international issues. We are interested in developing the cooperation in areas of mutual interest because of the geopolitical importance and interconnectedness of our regions,"

Prime Minister Borissov noted. According to him, the opening of embassies in Sofia and Abu Dhabi is already providing positive results and is creating conditions for significant facilitation of the bilateral dialogue and trade-related and economic cooperation.

 

According to the Bulgarian Prime Minister, there is great potential for investment in our country in sectors that would provoke the interest of UAE companies, such as high technology, transport, agriculture, food industry, energy, tourism. "We expect concrete steps from the Emirate's side in the areas of economic cooperation and increase in trade," Prime Minister Borissov said. According to him, an excellent opportunity to continue the good relations and to intensify economic cooperation would be to hold the first session of the Joint Economic Commission. Prime Minister Borissov also confirmed Bulgaria's participation in the World Universal Exhibition EXPO 2020 in Dubai.

 

 The Bulgarian Prime Minister put an emphasis on the importance of sectoral cooperation in the fields of domestic affairs, and the fight against organized crime and terrorism. According to Prime Minister Borissov, the two countries can exchange valuable experience on stability and security. "Following our last talks in October 2018. political developments in the world and in the region confirm the importance of exchanging specialized experience and information to counteract all the risks and threats posed by radical and extremist organizations and ideologies, ”the Bulgarian Prime Minister said.

 

During the conversation, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov renewed the invitation to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to visit Bulgaria, emphasizing that the visit would elevate relations between our two countries to an even higher level.
