PRIME MINISTER BOYKO BORISSOV MET WITH THE PRESIDENT OF CROATIA KOLINDA GRABAR-KITAROVIC

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov met with the President of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, who is on official visit to Bulgaria. The two discussed the opportunities for deepening the cooperation between the two countries, with a focus on the priority of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU – the perspective for the Western Balkan countries.

 

President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic congratulated Prime Minister Borissov for the successful conduction of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU and highlighted the importance of the projects for infrastructure and digital connectivity in the region. “Bulgaria considers as extremely important the deepening of regional cooperation for enhancing the stability of the Western Balkan countries,” said Prime Minister Borissov and added that it is particularly important that the focus on the region remains on the EU agenda also after the end of the Bulgarian Presidency.
