SOLVIT is an on-line problem solving network in which EU Member States work together to solve without legal proceedings problems caused by the misapplication of Internal Market law by public authorities.
Prime Minister Prof. Georgi Bliznashki had a meeting with regional governors to discuss preparations for the upcoming parliamentary elections on October 5. Members of the Central Election Commission (CEC) were invited to take part in the meeting.
“Kristalina Georgieva has established herself as a professional and one of the leading authorities in the European Commission. Her re-nomination presents a great chance for Bulgaria. She will undoubtedly be influential, regardless of whether she becomes EU High Representative or takes another post”, Prime Minister Prof. Georgi Bliznashki told reporters in the village of Bozhenitsa, regarding the EU summit, when leaders of the Union are expected to choose a President of the European Council and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
