SOLVIT is an on-line problem solving network in which EU Member States work together to solve without legal proceedings problems caused by the misapplication of Internal Market law by public authorities.
“Yesterday's debt issuance gave pretty good results. A ten-year interest rate below 3.1% is a really good score for investor confidence. This is the objective evaluation of investors ,who put money into our economy”, Prime Minister Oresharski told journalists in Brussels regarding the new issuance of bonds. “In relation to what is happening with Corporate Commercial Bank, we are monitoring the state of all other Bulgarian banks and I see no cause for concern on the part of citizens. The country has enough tools [to deal with the situation], including very good cooperation with the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB). We will support all BNB efforts, with instruments and resources, to not allow doubt in one institution or another”, the Prime Minister said. According to him, bank problems did not have a place in political speech. “It is not good, economically, bank problems to be obviously used for upcoming campaigns”, the Prime Minister.
“I have asked all experts in ministries and the Council of Ministers, engaged in operational programs, to reduce their summer holidays”, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Zinaida Zlatanova said and stressed that the preparation of the programming period was a national effort and an absolute priority for everyone involved.
“The Government adopted an updated version of the Partnership Agreement with the EC, which is the basis for finalizingnegotiations on this document and timely EU funding”,Deputy Prime Minister Zinaida Zlatanova said after today's meeting of the Council of Ministers. She pointed out that comments and observations by the EC had been taken into account in less than three weeks.“The agreement will be submitted to the EC tomorrow. We hope that it now largely corresponds to the expectations of our European partners and that this will speed up negotiation”", the Deputy Prime Minister said.
