The Prime Ministers of the three countries meet in Craiova
“Bulgaria, Romania, and Serbia, we have the rare chance to defend together our interest and realize the projects that are beneficial for both us and the whole of Europe”, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said, following his meeting with Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and Prime Minister of Romania Victor Ponta.
“There are so many agencies in Europe and the world that could intercept [migrant] trafficking routes. More police work is necessary,” Prime Minister Boyko Borissov told journalists in Brussels ahead of the meeting of the European Council. The extraordinary meeting was convened following the tragic events in the Mediterranean. The objective is to discuss, at the highest level, immediate action that EU Member States and institutions can undertake to address the situation.
