SOLVIT is an on-line problem solving network in which EU Member States work together to solve without legal proceedings problems caused by the misapplication of Internal Market law by public authorities.
The two prime ministers discuss cooperation in areas of mutual interest during a meeting in Sofia
“Montenegro has Bulgaria’s support,” said Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, who today met with Montenegro counterpart Milo Đukanović. The Prime Minister is in Bulgaria on an official visit. Borissov and Đukanović discussed issues of mutual interest and importance in the field of culture, energy, tourism and infrastructure. “Montenegro currently receives electricity from Bulgaria. With the project Montenegro has with Italy, the country could become a very interesting energy partner,” Borissov said. He added that a direct airline service between Bulgaria and Montenegro had been discussed and recalled cooperation and assistance regarding visas. Following the talks, an Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement in the field of culture was signed. Mr Borissov and Mr Đukanović emphasized the excellent friendly relations between the two countries.
“I think we will be able to build the Bulgaria-Greece gas interconnector with European money. I have Šefčovič’s assurance, and that of all colleagues, that the interconnector will be financed by the European Commission”, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov told journalists in Brussels. He pointed out that Bulgartransgas had finalized the procedure with Romania and would begin the building of a new interconnector with reverse flow capability and enhanced capacity of over 30 billion cubic meters.
